Backup account management
The arx-account command allows you to work directly on hte backup accounts. It allows you to :
- Create
- Remove
- Extract (from the storage to a directory or disk)
- Get information
- Integrate (from a directory or disk to the storage)
- Purge
- Measure the used quota
- Synchronize
Usual maintenance operations are performed automatically (purge, quota measurement and synchronization). But you can force them for some special need.
If you enter the "arx-account" command without parameters in the command line of the storage server, you will get help directly on the various available features.
To work on a cluster of accounts you can add the + character before the name of the root account.
Example:
If you want to get the "demo" account information alone, you will type:
arx-account info demoIf you want to get the "demo" account information and its descendant accounts, you will type:
